The Heidelberg CD printing press remains the gold standard in the packaging industry, capable of printing on a variety of substrates, such as paper, paperboard, plastic, metallized oxide coated stock etc. The double diameter transfer cylinder technology in CD presses enables printing on paper with weights varying from 70 GSM to 650 GSM, or boards with thickness of 32 point stock, at a maximum speed of 18000 sheets per hour.
